Getting Started
How to install Chordprinter and print your first chord progression.
Requirements
- Ableton Live Suite 10, 11, or 12 with Max 8 or higher
- macOS or Windows
Print your first progression
- Mount Chordprinter 2 on a rack
- Select a clip in Live
- Click "Print"
The progression writes into the selected clip. Preview with any instrument on that track, then print again until you like the result.
Float
Float switches between a normal window and a floating window. The floating window stays on top, which helps when you keep a piano roll open next to Chordprinter.
Reset
Reset returns Chordprinter to its default setup.
Basic and advanced view
The basic/advanced toggle switches between a simpler layout and the full control set. Use advanced when you want every chord slot, voicing option, and advanced chord type in reach.
