Voicing and Advanced Chords
Squish, voicing algorithms, ADV0–ADV7, and basic vs advanced view.
After the harmonic types are set, voicing and advanced chord menus control how each chord sounds in the clip.
Squish
Squish moves notes so the intervals within each chord and between chords stay as small as practical. That gives a smoother voice-leading feel across the progression.
Voicing
The voicing menu holds procedures that modify voicing across the whole progression. Chordprinter ships with many voicing algorithms so you can reshape a progression in one step instead of editing every note in the piano roll.
Advanced chords
Advance chords 1 through Advance chords 8 replace the 1st through 8th chord with an advanced chord type you pick from the menu. Use these when basic triads or sevenths are not enough and you want extended or altered harmony on specific slots.
Advanced chord choices override the global Seventh setting for the slots where they apply.
