Chordprinter
Scale and Chord Slots
Key, octave, chord count, and the CH0–CH7 progression slots.
The scale controls set the key Chordprinter builds in. The chord slot menus define each step of the progression, or leave them random until you lock a print you like.
Scale
- Root note is the root of the selected scale
- Scale is the scale type
- Octave is the octave of the progression
Pick the key first, then set how many chords you want and what each slot should be.
Chord amount
Chord amount sets how many chords sit in the progression. You can use up to eight chords.
Chord slots
Chord slots 1 through Chord slots 8 are the 1st through 8th chords of the progression. Set a slot to a specific chord, or leave it random and let Chordprinter pick within the scale and your generation options.
After you hear something you want to keep, use Lock on the generation options page so random slots stay fixed to the last printed progression.
